stress relief

I have severe anxiety, depression, and panic attacks, and I want to try anything to keep myself calm as much as possible. What’s the best type of tea, or anything, that will help keep me mellow? I’m not allowed to have caffeine at all.
thanks!

Celestial Seasons “tension tamer” & “sleepytime”. They utilize chamomile and valerian root and are caffeine free. Every grocer has them. I am always skeptical…but they DO work. Hope this helps.

My motto is “A cup of tea fixes everything.” I have been an avid tea drinker for a long time and find it is one of the best ways to tame my stress. You should stay away from caffeine if it overly effects you but there are plenty of other herbal teas out there that are great. Try rooibos or mint tea. Those are good stress relievers. If you like tea enough you can get into the whole world of loose leaf tea. The art of making the perfect cup of tea can be a stress reliever in itself. Check out this site for some more great information on tea.
